MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS (SMT-273114)
Course Description: In this upper level calculus-based probability and statistics course students will study topics including descriptive statistics, probability models and related concepts and applications, statistical estimation, and hypothesis testing. The primary audience for this course is students who wish to concentrate in either mathematics or applied mathematics. Such students should take this course rather than the lower level Statistics: An Activity Based Approach. Prior to enrolling in this course, student should have at least two semesters of undergraduate mathematics, including Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
