INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY (HDV-282164)
Course Description: This course will provide a general overview and introduction to the field of psychology. Psychology covers many areas and students will be introduced to the use of scientific thinking and research in psychology, basic brain physiology, cognition, motivation, memory, learning, language, personality, human development, psychological disorders, and psychological treatment. Students will have the opportunity to become sufficiently familiar with the subject matter of psychology to decide if they wish to pursue further study of psychology. This course fully meets the General Education requirement in Social Sciences. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
