INVENTION BY DESIGN (SMT-271564)
Course Description: Explore the development of the built world, investigate inventions from the paperclip to the bridge. In this course, you will discover the "principles and processes that turn thought into the many things that define our made world." It is recommended, but not required that students taking this course have the ability to post digital images (digital or scanned pictures). Access to a PC is required for this course as the software involved is not designed for a Mac. IMPORTANT NOTE: A visually impaired or blind student must contact the Office of Collegewide Disability Services before registering for this course. This course fully meets the General Education requirement in Natural Sciences. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
