BIOLOGY OF ECOSYSTEMS (SMT-272204)
Course Description: Gain an understanding of and appreciation for fundamental themes of biology through the study of plants, insects and living organisms in ecosystems. Learn about the importance of biodiversity and the complex interdependence and interaction between plants and animals in a healthy ecosystem. Develop a conceptual framework that will enable you to apply what you learn to critical examinations of complex ecological issues. While some background in biology will be helpful, there are no specific prerequisites for this course. This course fully meets the General Education requirement in Natural Sciences. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
