PROFESSIONAL ISSUES AND LEADERSHIP IN CONTEMPORARY NURSING (NUR-204054)
Course Description: This course examines theoretical leadership frameworks and management functions in the context of professional nursing practice. Students in the course will explore and analyze fundamental strategies to improve organizational culture and change, quality and safety of care, patient satisfaction, interprofessional dialogue, and budgetary resource issues. This course satisfies the college’s liberal arts and sciences requirements. This course is only available to Empire State College nursing program students
