EXPLORING THE PROFESSIONS: CHILDREN AND CHILD CARE (EDU-232422)
Course Description: Course Description: Explore the opportunities to work with children in the field of early childhood education. Students will explore child care credentialing, professionalism, ethics and the foundations of teaching and learning in formal and informal child care settings. The course places emphasis on ways to enhance development and learning through an environment and curriculum that supports young children and families. Students will complete the course with an individualized final project related to the profession of their choice. Important Note: This course was renamed effective the September 2014 term and was formerly offered as Exploring the Professions: Child Care Introductory, 252422. Students who have successfully 252422 should not enroll in this course. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
