SPECIAL TOPICS IN POLITICAL SCIENCE: THE 2016 CAMPAIGNS AND ELECTION (SOC-264214)
Course Description: The course will examine American political campaigns and elections with an emphasis upon the influences of media, fund raising, political parties and interest groups. There will be special emphasis upon the 2016 election and consideration of issues involving social media, gender, survey research and voter identification. The Discussion Board will be devoted to the 2016 election issues supported by short writing assignments and a final paper. There is a single book and supporting articles as required reading. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
