Description: The Construction Cost Accounting, Estimating and Finance course is an introduction to commercial construction estimating. The course will cover the entire estimating process from preliminary programming budgets to the final lump sum proposal. The delivery techniques of design-bid-build and negotiated construction management will be explored specifically with how each methods differs in their approach to estimating. A real world case study example will be used to demonstrate the processes and procedures used by construction firms to estimate the cost of a commercial building.
