Description: Study the use of economic analysis undergirding the determination of public policy. Includes the allocation of scarce resources, distribution of income, and general functioning of the economy. Learn to identify and critically examine various policy objectives and explain the generally accepted economic principles utilized in attaining them. Recognize the social and ethical factors that limit the transformation of analysis into established policy. This course meets the general education requirement in Social Science.
