Description: This course is designed to examine sexuality and gender differences in the context of developing and maintaining relationships in our rapidly-changing, demographically diverse and geographically mobile global society. The course focuses on core issues bringing to bear evolutionary biology, reproductive physiology, behavioral psychology, cognitive psychology, social and cultural dimensions of sexuality and gender differences. Since the world we live in and our pattern of relationships is changing rapidly in response to economic, social and technological change, the focus is on helping individuals develop critical thinking, communicating, and problem-solving skills and to encourage people to approach issues of human sexuality in an intelligent and thoughtful way.

Prerequisites: Basic background in at least General Psychology or General Biology, or equivalent experience.
