Description: Review the history and development of the American fire service. Addresses management issues and organization of a fire department. Includes value engineering for capital resources; cost effectiveness in service delivery; fire prevention, suppression, and investigation; emergency medical services; the utilization of computers in data collection, retrieval, and analysis. Apply content to local fire protection issues.
