Description: Understand and use the terminology and methods used for experimental psychology. Engage in online laboratory work, and become familiar with the research questions and current thinking in a number of different topical areas in the field of psychology, specifically: psychophysics, perception, attention, conditioning and learning, memory, thinking and problem solving, individual differences, social influence, environmental psychology and human factors.

Prerequisites: Completion of a course in Statistics or equivalent, and Introduction to Psychology, plus completion of at least one intermediate or advanced course in psychology.

Note: Access to a Windows-based PC is required for this course as the software needed for the course is not designed for a Mac.

This course fully meets the General Education requirement in Social Sciences.
