Course Description:


Apply basic concepts of economic decision making to a discussion and analysis of contemporary economics issues. Includes supply and demand concepts, health care, unemployment, inflation, taxation, monopoly and competition in certain industries, international trade and trade agreements. Discuss and debate controversial and real world situations requiring the use of economics principles and concepts. This course meets the general education requirement in Social Science.
