Course Description:


Consider how streams of political thought may be manifested in social policy in the United States. Explore two significant political orientations and their social policy implications. Social welfare issues will be the focus of the course. Address the assumptions underlying social policies and their implementation.

Recommended: One year of college.

Students taking the course for six credits cover the same areas as in the four-credit course, but in greater depth.
