Course Description:


Building on the prerequisite, Citizen and State 1, begin with provocative readings that explore the current character of American political power and government. Examine ways in which citizens can reinvigorate democratic politics and decision-making. Study the context of current institutional, ideological, economic and social change. Negotiate with the tutor to determine individual course activities and outcomes.

Prerequisite: Citizen and State 1 or equivalent.

This course meets the general education requirement in Social Science.
