Course Description:


Study adolescence from a variety of medical, psychological and social perspectives. Examine how changes in family structure; a diminished public commitment in health, education, and recreation; pessimistic economic forecasts; and persistent social problems such as racism and sexism influence opportunities and risks for contemporary adolescents. This course meets the general education requirement in Social Science.
