This course will assist the development of an understanding of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for supervisors and managers in emergency services. Topics include leadership and management skills, management of human (personnel) and systems resources, information management, organizational structure, quality improvement and contemporary issues in the organization of emergency management operations.

Prerequisites: Management Principles or equivalent.
