Course Description:


Analyze the process of industrialization and societal transformation in England (the first country to industrialize), the United States, Japan, and Mexico (as an example of Third World industrialization). Careful attention is given to economy, population, culture, and history through a multidisciplinary perspective. This course meets the general education requirement in Other World Civilizations.

Recommended: Prior study in history, economics, or other social sciences; World History 2 especially recommended.
