Course Description:


This study will provide a deeper understanding of several models of practice in the addictions field. Students will understand various interventions, skills, and treatment modalities needed to design effective treatment interventions for working with the addicted populations.

Some of the intervention content in this course was previously addressed in courses titled as Chemical Addictions - Theories and Practice, 4 or 6 credit. If you previously completed CHS 253184 or CHS 253186, you should discuss with your mentor before registering for this course.
