Description: Acquire knowledge and understanding of basic rhetorical and communication theories for interpersonal, group, organizational, and societal communications. Apply those theories to communication decisions in real-world settings. Begin with an inventory of communication-related problems and tasks. Conduct a communications "audit" to select and use various strategies to solve those problems and complete those tasks. This course meets the general education requirement in Basic Communication.
