Description: Examine typical behavior from several theoretical perspectives. Consider normality and abnormality in historical perspective. Review a number of leading theoretical schemes for understanding and explaining behavior and various modes of assessment, treatment, and prevention. Requires a solid grounding in developmental or personality theory. This course meets the general education requirement in Social Science.
