Description: Relate the basic concepts, theories, and practices of case management to a variety of health, human, and community service provider, payor, and consumer organizations. Study the development of case management skills, policies, and procedures and the role of the case manager. Study how the requirements of quality care, cost containment, consumer satisfaction, interdisciplinary coordination, utilization review, information management, reporting, and reimbursement relate to the case management process.
