Course Description:


This course is intended for students who provide direct care for infants and toddlers as well as for program administrators and educational coordinators who incorporate infant/toddler programming into infant toddler programs. Students will leave with an in-depth understanding of curriculum and environments for young children birth to three including developmentally appropriate practices and the teacher's role in supporting development of infants and toddlers. There will be an emphasis on health and safety, curriculum planning including goals, environments, and building responsive relationships with the children and families.

Prerequisite: Infant Toddler Development, Child Development, or equivalent

NOTE: This course was previously offered as Developing Infant Toddler Programs. Students, who completed 254324, cannot take Curriculum and Environments for Infants and Toddlers.
