Course Description:


This course will provide instruction and practice in writing for technical contexts, for a variety of audiences. Similarly, students will learn practices of effective document production, including the presentation of visual information.

Prerequisite: The ability to read technological materials and to write college-level prose. Specifically, technical knowledge acquired through work experience or upper-level study in IS/IT is required, as is the completion of one or more courses in which writing or composition was the focus.

This course fully meets the General Education requirement in Basic Communication.
