Description: Explore the impact of advances in information technology in the context of organizational decision making and the potential of an effective management information system to contribute to organizational learning, to be a source of competitive advantage and to assist an organization in a global arena. This course focuses on understanding the use and management of information as an organizational resource. A group project will allow students to develop their ability to work as a team -- a common practice in the industry.

Prerequisites: an understanding of basic management principles either through prior study or professional experience.
