Hello and welcome to my website!
My name is Val Chukhlomin and I am a faculty/area coordinator at SUNY Empire State College. I have been teaching for 20 years in the U.S., Australia and Russia. Currently, I advise students, teach International Business, Cross-Cultural Management, International Political Economy, Scanning the Business Environment (MBA) and coordinate Marketing and Organizational Behavior studies. I have extensive professional experience in the field of international marketing and management of higher education, including positions of International Programs Director, Chair, Founding Dean, and Vice-President of a major public university. My research interests include international distance learning, international marketing of education, cross-cultural conflicts, country-of-origin effects, branding, and global competencies. This site is primarily intended to provide adult learners and colleagues with some information about me as an educator and a mentor.
