What are Student Resources?
This area of the website is set-aside especially for my students. At Empire State College students do not have access to other students as they would in a classroom situation. I have found that interaction through the web can be just as satisfying for many people. In this section there are activities for those of you enrolled in Educational Planning and Organizational Behavior. There is also an area for student discussions on any topic (well, most any topic). Also you will find links to resources that may be useful to you.
What is in the Student Resources?
- Educational Planning offers valuable information as you plan your educational experience at the college. You will find information, useful links, and a discussion area to share your questions, thoughts, concerns, and comments with other students working on this study. Participation in this discussion area may be tied to your learning activities in this course of study.
- Organizational Behavior also offers information and useful links on the subject. There is also a discussion area for this topic that may be used by students enrolled in this study.
- Discussion Board is planned as a chat room for students. Feel free to enter this area, relax, and chat with other students about your studies, the experience of guided independent study, the weather, the latest movie, etc. Please not that you will need your Empire State College login to connect with others!
- Writing Resources gives you links to assist you in your writing assignments. Whether you need to check on how to format a citation or can’t remember how to punctuate a sentence, these links will help you.
- Collaborative tools list a number of electronic tools that students can use to communicate and collaborate with others, and to access expert advice or support in coaching and mentoring.
- Useful Links list a number of other connections that may be interesting and useful to you
