Empire State College

Hobbies and Interests

Hobbies and interests….let me think about that...I think that my overwhelming interest for the last decade and a half has been Empire State College: who we are, what we do, how we do it, and how we are changing. However as I have been told on numerous occasions all work and no play, etc. etc. No really, I do have other interests. A very important one is my family. I have had a wonderful husband for more than 30 years and we have two grown children. My son works in the environmental/conservation field in California and my daughter is a graduate student studying neuroscience in Vermont.

When time allows I enjoy sewing, quilting, and crocheting – and I am always reading something – history, science fiction, mysteries, and an occasional love story. I love to travel with my husband and we recently went to California by car, visiting a dozen or so national and state parks on the way.I have included some pictures showing a little of my handicraft and of my travels.
