INSTRUCTIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE
Mentor/Unit Coordinator - 1997 to present

Serve as academic advisor and faculty (mentor) to students to plan and implement courses of study in a variety of business and educational areas through various modalities (face to face mentoring, distance, group settings, web), including organizational behavior, management, workplace learning, disability issues, training and development, gender and diversity issues in the workplace, organizational development, child, adolescent and adult education issues; evaluate experiential learning for possible college credit; work with graduate students in business areas, including organizational management, women in the workplace, and issues of diversity in the workplace.
Monitor the student progress and academic programs of unit students; coordinate student orientations; supervise unit members; coordinate marketing, recruitment, and retention of students; hire and supervise academic tutors; work with area organizations to offer educational information and assistance; prepare and distribute promotional and student literature; monitor federal and state financial aid for students; oversee unit alumni/student association.
