Learning Options
Each person learns differently. Some people are excellent at reading a textbook and analyzing the information they have read. Others are much better at listening to the information in order to understand it. I try to help students gain some understanding of their learning styles and help them to adjust learning activities to complement them. On this page there are some links that will help you begin to think about how you learn best. I have also included some links of a few leading scholars in the field of learning and adult education. Finally, I offer some ideas for learning options that students might choose to use in my studies.
[Thanks to Dr. Patricia Pisaneschi for some of the ideas presented here.]
