Broadly speaking, I teach introductory and advanced level courses in European and American history. I offer a number of specialized courses on the history of Central Europe, including the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Germany, the Jews of Central Europe/Germany, and the Holocaust. I also offer courses built around the related themes of national/ethnic identity, nationalism, and pluralism/multiculturalism. Additionally, I offer an introductory course on the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
