Empire State College has been accredited by the Middle States association and accepted by the New York State Education Department to offer undergraduate study in eleven Areas of Study. Read the AREA OF STUDIES GUIDELINES at the link below and find your field of interest to determine how you can address the guidelines you will need to follow for a recognized degree program in a particular field. Short descriptions of Areas of Study can be found in the Degree Planning Guide, but this web site contains far more detailed information that will help you explore your field of interest as it is recognized in the disciplines and professions of higher education.
